Let love grow.

When planning your wedding flowers are one of the first things we think about. What do they say about you? Do they tell us about your personality, your style, or do they have an emotional connection for you. Often times when we smell a certain flower it brings back memories of someone or something and that memory can be the driving force in choosing  flowers for your wedding day.

Recently I did a wedding with just that type of connection. Lauren's great grand father had brought seeds for peonies from Italy years ago and these coveted flowers had been lovingly passed down from generation to generation so it was a natural choice when she was choosing flowers for her wedding. Her complimentary flower choice was a hydrangea. Her aunt was a chemist of sorts and grew hydrangeas and changed the colors by altering the acidity of the soil. I have to tell you the combination was breathtaking and certainly set a beautiful scene for both the wedding and the reception.Enjoy the beauty of these wonderful flowers ...you can almost smell them!
