They say April showers bring May showers and if that holds true we should have a lot of beautiful flowers! But Saturday April 30 turned out to be a beautiful day for Marissa & Jarvis- the weather cooperated and the sun was shining-no purple rain on their wedding day. After a year and half of planning their dream wedding became a reality.
Marissa had chosen purple, grey and gold as her colors with a vintage glam look. I must admit on first thought I am not a big purple fan however, I am now a convert. Working on the ceremony was such a fun process and we had plenty of time to really go with the theme.
The wedding was at Sunset Park overlooking the bay. There was a slight breeze and a beautiful backdrop for their 100 plus guests. You could feel the excitement in the air as all the guests arrived. The sweet thing she did was have both her grandfather and her father walk her down the isle. Sunset park is a long walk so she used it to her benefit.
The reception was held at Harborwatch and done entirely by family members and it was beautiful. Everything was made by hand and the love surely showed. The cake was beyond words beautiful and Theresa at Sugarrush out did herself! The photographer Dana Marie made the day complete with her images so beautifully recorded for them.A classy event all the way around.Thank you for sharing it with us.
