A beautiful day for a beautiful couple at the Ocean Pines Beach Club. Nicki surprised Joey with the seaboard sign right before the ceremony started. Such special moment! After they said their “I do’s” they headed up to the venue. Dreamy driftwood with greens and roses covered the table to complete a tasteful beach wedding you could only dream of! And do you see that dessert bar? To die for! Each family member made a huge variety cookies for the reception. Nicki had another surprise for Joey, such a cool grooms cake made by the lovely sugar rush by Theresa. We absolutely loved working with Nicki and Joey, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
What is the difference between a wedding planner and a day of wedding coordinator?
A full-service wedding planner handles everything for the couple, from start to finish. A wedding planner’s job includes the design and vision of wedding, they help keep couples within their budgets, they recommend and contact vendors, as well as being present the day of the wedding to help execute what is contracted.
so what does a day of coordinator do? A day coordinator will jump into the process typically a month prior to the wedding date, usually to help those couples who are planning the wedding themselves.
A day of coordinator will be available for anything you may need prior to the wedding. There job is to get everything organized as you lead up to the day of the wedding. They are there to take over on the day of the wedding to ensure that all details that are planned are executed. They make sure that all vendors stay on timeline. As we like to say, a day of coordinator is essential for any couple who wants to do most of the planning themselves, but when their wedding day arrives, they need a professional to execute all of their hard work and planning. Having a professional day of coordinator there to handle the logistics is so essential because a wedding couple should be able to enjoy themselves at their wedding and not worry about anything!
